Golden happiness was set up in August 2008, by husband and wife team Jeffrey & Eyvon Ng, who got married on 10th May 2008. We started out as online business but due to overwhelming response we decided to set up a home office, as time goes by we began to sell more items and decided to set up our first shop at Katong Shopping Centre. As a young company, we have been featured by 8 days on wedding traditions, issue 968 May 7, 2009 also, we are honored to be invited by Poh Heng to participate in the workshop on 20/10/09 and media launch to share information about wedding traditions.

The reason we set this business is because there aren’t many young adults who are interested and not to mention have the slightest clue about wedding traditions. We are passionate about what we do, continuing this dying trait and at the same time using new technologies like the internet to provide a fuss free matrimony. We are the FIRST in Singapore to retail customary items online so you can be sure items created are of originality and exclusive --

Services

Over here at Golden Happiness, you are just not another customer. We provide after hours support which is why on our name cards, we included our mobile numbers for easy contact and text messaging. We prefer watsapp though.. as it would be easier for us to send and receive photos and other information.

As I'm a huge fan of vintage products, you may find that sometimes we do have limited vintage products selling online or in store, they are on first come first serve basis, no reservations allowed. So I would always encourage you to book them by making payments first then collect later.

Purchase details at our retail shop

We do accept credit card, nets or cash payments, but psssss if you pay by cash you get a discount too! :)

Online Purchase

We do accept international wholesale and retail orders, shipping charges will be fully paid by buyer, for local online purchases mailing is complimentary and if you prefer by registered mail it will be additional $3.50. We do accept paypal or bank transfer.

All purchases will be mailed out within 3 working days, kindly include your name. contact, and mailing address when making payment!

Franchise

We do receive email every once in while regarding interest to become our franchisee, we do take our shop as our pride and joy so we do not believe in giving out franchise to any Tom, Dick or Harry who is out to 'just make money'. (Ever since being awarded with the 'Asia Service Excellence Award 2013' our shop has become even more important to us.)

Neither do we give out franchise to anyone who are still in dreamland mode (people who wants to set up a shop just because he or she thinks that wedding retailers are the happiest people on earth)... the bed is just right next to you, don't come to us, lastly to people who has that thinking 'people are doing it so will I'.

Please understand this saying 'it only takes money and a little of time of open a shop, but it takes forever to keep a shop going' This is also the reason why nowadays there are too many of these wedding shops, selling the same product, copies whatever other people sells, but lacks creativity, lacks strong knowledge of wedding traditions procedure and more importantly lacks the passion.

I have used many years of my life building this shop, this business and this reputation, I won't let any dreamies or Mr Tom, Dick and Harry ruin the name that I've built.
